Pozn.: Současný majitel získal dílo přímo v ateliéru autorky. Dílo bylo vystaveno ve Špálově galerii. Obraz je reprodukován v monografii Jaroslava Pešicová, obazy, kresby, grafiky, tapisérie, sklo na straně 185, s tím, že v knize jsou špatně uvedeny rozměry - tato informace pochází od držitelů pozůstalosti Jaroslavy Pešicové.

Narodila se v Praze. Studovala AVU u prof. Sychry. Tvořila monumentální figurální kompozice. Spolupracovala s Marií Teinitzerovou na řadě tapiserií, které vznikly podle jejích návrhů. V roce 2003 získala Evropskou cenu za uměleckou a kulturní činnost od Evropské unie umění.
